About the Role
Termly is seeking a skilled and motivated SEO Specialist or Manager to own, support, and execute our growing SEO initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong grasp of SEO fundamentals and is ready to contribute meaningfully to a high-performing team, with a focus on both technical excellence and content-driven strategy.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Senior Growth Manager and cross-functional teams to implement SEO tactics, monitor performance, and help optimize our site and content for organic growth. We’re looking for someone curious about the evolving role of AI in search and who brings both analytical rigour and creativity to the role.
This is a critical contributor role with opportunities for impact, growth, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing SEO strategies developed by the Senior Growth Manager and other senior team members
- Perform ongoing technical SEO audits and collaborate with dev and web teams to resolve issues and improve site health and speed
- Monitor SEO performance across tools like GA4, GSC, Ahrefs or SEMrush, and provide recurring reporting and insights
- Research keywords, competitors, and search trends to support content and optimization efforts
- Collaborate with the content and outreach teams to ensure new content and re-optimisation work aligns with SEO goals
- Assist in international SEO initiatives and ensure global best practices are applied
- Track and report on algorithm updates, competitor movements, and emerging AI/AIO trends relevant to organic search
- Document SEO processes and contribute to building scalable systems and workflows
- Support AI- and AIO-driven experiments or testing that relate to SEO and content performance
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment
- Strong reporting skills with the ability to translate data into insights
- Proficiency with core SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, SEMrush or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Cloudflare, and WP Rocket
- Ability to perform technical audits and interpret SEO diagnostics
- Familiarity with page speed optimisation and web performance concepts
- Basic knowledge of WordPress
- Understanding of current shifts in SEO and the role of AI/AIO in organic acquisition
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience contributing to or managing content optimisation or link-building campaigns
- Exposure to international SEO or multilingual/multiregional strategies
- Knowledge of AI tools for content or SEO analysis
- Programmatic SEO experience
- Past success growing traffic for personal, freelance, or side projects
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams
